A.

See a full list of licensed retailers and their locations.

Q.

How much does legal cannabis cost in Manitoba?

Short answer? As with anything, it depends on what you purchase and where you purchase it.

Q.

How do I transport my weed legally?

A.

In a vehicle, cannabis must be stored in a sealed container that’s not accessible to the driver or passengers during transport. The best place is usually the trunk!

Q.

Exactly how much cannabis can I have on me without getting in trouble with the law?

A.

30 grams. But not everything comes in weed form, so there are equivalencies for other products. One (1) gram of dried cannabis equals:

  • Five (5) grams of fresh cannabis
  • 15 grams of edibles
  • 570 mls of beverage
  • 0.25 grams of concentrate
  • 70 grams of topical, and
  • One (1) plant seed.

REMEMBER: No matter what form your cannabis takes, it can only total 30 grams altogether. To make sure you are within the legal limits, use this handy cannabis calculator.

A.

Don’t get it twisted; the legal age for drinking may be 18, but for cannabis, it’s 19.

A.

They must have a physical store in Manitoba and be licensed by the LGCA.
